More Controllers - I knew that I would need some more channels for the snowflakes. I also decided I wanted to add a "Weber Tree" or spiral tree (weber tree named after the guy who first did this). Not sure yet if I am going to do this on the one mega tree yet or do a separate one. The controllers were NIB kits with all the cords and LOR boxes. A steal at $250.00! Will be building those in the next few weeks.
New Song To Add- Think I am going to do "Jing,Jing,Jing" from the Cool Yule cd by The Airmen of Note. This is the Air Force Jazz Band. Will probably have to edit this down some though. This by the way is also available for a FREE download from this website (and is legal!).
Snow Fall Lights - This is from Frost LEDs and they call them "Dripping-Icicles". These are smaller than the larger tubes you can buy, but well under the cost you would spend on the larger tubes. I think I should get nearly the same effect as the larger tubes...we hope. One reason it will be more noticeable since they are closer to the street. Anyway, we will see come up Christmas time!

Projector and Yard Sale Find - I had always like the projector systems some people had put into their displays. The more I investigate, the more reasonably priced it looks that I too might could get into using a projection system. But for some reason my wife and kids are REALLY against this. Not sure if it just seems over the top or what. Wife keeps complaining that they won't see it from the street. I agree, so thoughts of moving it closer have occurred to me. Anyway, I have been investigating this and may dive into this. (Against the wife's wishes ;-) We will see.
Found ironically enough at a yard sale yesterday, a mirror, frenzel (think that is how you spell it!) and mirror to a rear projection tv system. This got me thinking.... The issue with putting a projection system closer to the street is that light from other elements would interfere with the screen. I knew I was going to need to block this light somehow. What about putting it in a box! I could use the parts of the yard sale find with a projector and basically make a rear projector TV! Most people say that the using the rear projection TV's would be washed out. That is the reason for using the projector. Anyway...I hope to experiment today with a projector at school to see how it looks thru the frenzel screen (basically that amplifies the image). Using a projector in a box...I might not be able to get a big enough image. See how it works and report back.
